Sometimes the past comes back to haunt you.
A simple lesson, but one the Gongen and the Player Characters both are about to learn.
Somewhere in the rotting, irradiated corpse of the Asian Wastes lurks a long-forgotten secret, an artefact of the days before the Asian Disaster of 2071. What it is exactly is a mystery, and will remain so for most of the scenario, but it is a thing with the potential to cripple Gongen, to leave the planet prostrate and helpless before the other four factions of the Solar System.
Even as the Gongen are learning of this, the Player Characters are having their own brush with the past. Someone wants them dead, someone willing to pay top credits for an assassin good enough for the job. Do these assassination attempts and the Asian artefact have anything in common? Of course they do.
Adventures never really have an end, and Nowhere to Hide picks up where Incursion left off, weaving the threads of Incursion into a whole new adventure, a tale of vengeance and desperation that throws the Player Characters into a frantic race through the Solar System.
Nowhere to Hide is a 32-page adventure intended for a group of 4th to 5th level Player Characters. Though it is written assuming the Player Characters have already been through the events of Incursion, it is easily modified to accommodate a group of Player Characters who had nothing to do with Incursion. |
