Science and civilization have taken from us the ability to see beyond what is viewed as reason; to see the true nature of the shadows that lurk in the corners of the eye. Our reality is scattered smoke and broken mirrors, lost in fragments of perception. We have lost the call of the Ether, we have lost the struggle, we have lost the Cycle.
But not all of us.
Tonight, let them remember that there are those of us who still know the Truth of Reality; those of us who still know of the worlds beyond. We are the People of the Struggle, the Eternal Children, the rats beneath the streets, the hidden tribes of the Outlands. We may be few, but we are everywhere. We wield the power of the Ether, of forgotten magic. We hold the knowledge, the cunning and the strength of the old Word Tonight, let us fear not the dark.
